Ingredients:
1 Large Onion Chopped
1 tsp Chili Powder
1 clv Garlic Chopped
1/2 c Red Wine
1/2 c Chopped Parsley
2 c Gourmet Bean Soup Mix
2 q Water
0 Salt and Pepper (To Taste)
1 cn Tomatoes (Large)
Instructions:
Place beans in large kettle cover with water and let soak overnight. In morning drain and add water and ham (optional), simmer slowly 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Add onion, tomatoes, chili powder, garlic, salt and pepper. Simmer for 1 hour longer. Before serving add parsley and red wine if desired.
